For many years, CBL attorneys have assisted clients with navigating the oil pipeline and natural gas pipeline tariff filing processes. We have helped create tariffs to address a wide array of matters, from routine rate changes to challenging operational issues. For example, we have helped both liquid and natural gas pipelines deal with constrained pipeline capacity, resolve quality and compatibility issues, craft solutions to administrative problems and address credit risks associated with the proliferation of new system shippers. Given the trend toward constrained liquid pipeline capacity in certain regions, CBL attorneys have worked extensively with our clients on pipeline prorationing policies, drafting such policies as well as modeling allocation outcomes to ensure that policies generate accurate and reasonable results. We have long-standing experience working with agencies in the tariff-filing context at both the federal and state level.
